Career Overview: While in law school, Mr. Lofton clerked with the U.S. Department of Justice. After passing the Oregon Bar, he worked as an Associate Attorney with Kasson & Murr of Beaverton, Oregon, in the areas of elder law, estate planning and consumer protection. In 1992, he took the position of Regional Corporate Counsel for the Portland Oregon office of SBI, a multistate corporation. Subsequently, after passing the Washington Bar in 1996, he became the Managing Partner of Legal Benefits, a multistate law firm (later known as Lofton & Associates, Inc. P.S.), before merging with Dennis Brislawn to form Brislawn Lofton, PLLC in 1998 (which now includes The Private Client Law Group).
